CrypTita Plays Mini-Library Project

Crypto content creator Arshlene Lingao, known as CrypTita Plays, is bringing blockchain education to underserved communities in the Philippines through a grassroots initiative called the Mini-Library Project. With the support of contributors like GCrypto Head Luis Buenaventura, CoinEx Charity, and Bitget’s Blockchain4Youth, the project aims to make digital knowledge accessible even without internet or smartphones.

The first mini-library was launched in Kabatuhan, Negros Occidental, with two more planned in Roxas City and Agusan del Sur. CrypTita Plays expressed its commitment to building a total of 10 mini-libraries over the next few years, focusing on sustainability and integration with local schools.

Aptos Hours

Hiraya Network recently brought Aptos Hours to several cities across the Philippines—Taguig, Davao, Baguio, and Cavite—which offered relaxed meetups for web3 builders, enthusiasts, and those curious about the Aptos ecosystem. The gatherings are noted to be all about real conversations, good vibes, and building connections over drinks and snacks.

Participants had the chance to meet fellow developers, founders, and web3 explorers, learn about Hiraya Network’s initiatives, and share ideas on the future of Aptos.

Marshal Program Classes

In an X post, Metaversity shared that the 10-week Marshal Program classes has recently started with more than 460 learners joining. The first week tackled topics such as “Intro to YGG Culture,” “Market Research 101,” “Content Strategy,” and “Creating Your Persona.”

Metaversity is the educational arm of Yield Guild Games (YGG), focusing on equipping individuals with skills for the web3- and AI-driven digital economy. The Marshal Program is an exclusive initiative under the platform designed to provide specialized training in areas such as community building, marketing, gaming, and content creation.

Ethereum Development Workshop

Local web3 community ETH63 organized the Ethereum Blockchain Development Workshop held April 25–26 at Informatics Baguio. It brought together aspiring developers, tech students, and educators for a hands-on learning experience in building decentralized applications (dApps).

The two-day event aimed to equip participants with foundational knowledge in blockchain development, including writing smart contracts in Solidity, using Foundry, and understanding the principles behind composability and web3 infrastructure. The workshop offered active learning sessions and culminated with certificates issued by Informatics Baguio.

Coins.ph Joins Circle Payments Network

Coins.ph partnered with global fintech firm Circle to join the launch of the Circle Payments Network (CPN), aiming to make cross-border money transfers faster, cheaper, and easier for Filipinos.
